Hey Jude!
The historical celebration of "I Giudei" take place along the narrow streets of San Fratello, a village in the Nebrodi mountains
near Messina, Sicily.
This celebration lasts three days, from Wednesday to Friday to the holy week, it dates back to the Middle Ages and attracts
thousands of visitors.
During holy Friday groups of men with their heads covered with hoods, with colorful clothes and with trumpets disturb the
religious celebration by passing across the village and playing trumpets and dancing.
Men, boy and child are dressed with coloured clothes and masks like Judaic soldiers, they are happy and dance in the streets, they represent the people who
killed Jesus.
Clothes have devilish features but also Christian and popular signs, crosses, red horns and other decorations.
